Teaching practice in Govt Girls H.S.S cotton hill
The school was opened in 1859 under Maharaja Sri Uthram Thirunal. It was a free school for girls in Thiruvananthapuram. It operated in the present day Sanskrit college building at Palayam until the tenure of Sir C.P. Ramaswami Iyyer, the Divan of Travancore. Now Govt. Higher Secondary School for Girls (GGHSS), Cotton 7Hill, Thiruvananthapuram situated in Vazhuthacaud.
GGHSS Cotton Hill, has total area of 9 acres land consisting full of trees and shades.
